World's Longest Car (Limousine)

World's Longest Car (Limousine)

The longest limousine built ever in the world is a limousine 100-ft long that was created by Jay Ohrberg of Burbank, California. This enormously long car is even in the Guinness Book of World Records now. This limousine rides on 26 tires spaced along the length of its body. It has 2 drivers’ cabins in the front and in the back as it’s really hard to drive such a vehicle. In order the limousine could turn and make turns around corners, its middle part is hinged to fold.

Jay Ohrberg created the longest limousine for exhibition purposes, however this news became a big sensation and many people were dreaming about hiring such a limousine. That’s why Jay provides the limousine for rentals for various functions and events. However the limousine is too long for driving in the streets and technically it’s not quite legal, but with specially trained chauffeurs in both cabins it’s possible.

The longest limousine is equipped much better than many Hollywood mansions, and it’s very popular order for Hollywood movie shootings, exhibitions and special events of nobles. And nobles can get everything they can imagine in such limousine where state of the art luxuries abound. The longest limousine in the world is featuring a heated Jacuzzi tub nestled in the interior, a swimming pool, and a king sized bed, and a sun deck, a helipad and the televisions connected to the limousine’s own satellite dish.

Lucky Diamond Rich (born 1971, New Zealand) is "the world's most tattooed person" (a title formerly held by Tom Leppard), and has tattoos covering his entire body, including the inside of his foreskin, mouth and ears. He holds the Guinness world record as of 2006, being 100 percent tattooed.

He is an accomplished sword-swallower. Along with the Space Cowboy (real name Chayne Hultgren) he was jointly the first person to perform a double-sword swallowing while suspended upside-down.

He is credited as "Lucky Rich" on vocals for the 1998 5-track "Skin" EP by the band "Primitive Ghost". Most Body Piercings Man Guinness World Record set by Aryan Hopkins

Most Body Piercings Man Guinness World Record set by Aryan Hopkins
Abstract Ink piercer Pauly Dunkleberger removed a needle from the arm of Aryan Hopkins Saturday.

After an hour of needle pulling, he only had a few hundred left to do.

Hopkins broke the Guinness World Record for most body piercings in one session at the Roseville tattoo, piercing and body modification studio. Owner, and Aryan’s wife, Ashleigh Hopkins said the final count totaled 1,093 needles, which beat the previous record of 900 piercings with 18-gauge needles.

“It’s amazing,” said Natasha Olson, whose boyfriend’s dad works at the studio.

They wanted 2,000, but stopped piercing when Aryan Hopkins’ body began to show signs of shock. They fell short of the overall record of 1,200 piercings, set in 2009, which used 16-gauge needles, which are larger than 18-gauge.

Dunkleberger inserted the needles into neat rows on both of Aryan Hopkins’ legs, arms and his back.

“It doesn’t exactly hurt,” Hopkins said. “It feels extremely weird.”

The event also served as a fundraiser for Shriners Hospital for Children Northern California. Local businesses and individuals donated money for each piercing. It took Dunkleberger about two hours to place all the needles before stopping and beginning the removal process.

“I think it’s crazy,” Dunkleberger said. “I wouldn’t let me do this to me.”

Elaine
Davidson didn’t need the new piercings for record purposes–she got into
the Guinness Book of World Records back in the year 2000 with the
comparatively miniscule 462 piercings. At the time, just under 200 of
those were in her face.

As for her current 6,005 piercings, Davidson tells the Telegraph more than 1,500 of them are “internal.”

Davidson works as a nurse in Edinburgh. She also recently opened a piercing studio in Darlington, Durham.

World's Most Pierced Man World Record set by Ed Bruns Wyoming

World's Most Pierced Man World Record set by Ed Bruns Wyoming

A Wyoming man underwent body piercings for nearly five hours in an effort to become the new record holder.

Ed Bruns was out to get 1,501 piercings Sunday and break the previous body piercings world record for one session by 304.
A piercing artist put the 16-gauge piercing needles in the arms, back and legs of the 46-year-old Bruns.

Two notary publics were on hand to certify the documentation that will be sent, along with a video, to Guinness World Records.

Bruns says he was confident but felt a little tenderness at times.
A few minutes after the stunt was complete, piercing artists removed all but one of the needles. Bruns is keeping one on the back of his head with a small barbell through it.

Elaine Davidson, the world’s most pierced woman, has added even more metal into her body. Davidson’s latest additions bring her piercing totals to 6,005, the U.K.

World Shortest Man Guinness World Record

World Shortest Man Guinness World Record set by Edward Nino Hernandez

A
Colombian man standing at 2 feet and 3.46 inches has been officially
certified as the world's shortest man, Guinness World Records
announced. Edward Hernandez of Bogota will appear in the 2011 edition of
the Guinness Book of World Records, which is due to be released Sept.
15, taking over from the recently deceased He Pingping of China,
Guinness said.

Edward
Nino Hernandez from Bosa in Colombia has just entered the Guinness
World Records as the shortest man in the world, a record previously held
by Pingping of China (who died in March).

24-year-old Nino stands just 27 inches (70cm) high and stopped growing
when he was two years old. Colombian doctors were unable to explain why
he is so small.

Nino seems unworried about his height and said "I feel happy because I'm
unique," Although he added that he dislikes it when people keep
touching him all the time and picking him up.

According to the new record holder he has an 18-year-old girlfriend
called Fanny. Whilst her exact height is unknown, we are told she is
less than 5 feet tall.

Unfortunately, Nino suffers with cataracts in both eyes and needs
surgery to correct this problem. However, with his new found fame, a
part in a film and the cash he earns dancing at department stores, he
may soon be able to afford this.

Worlds shortest man

The only cloud on the horizon might be a teenager from Nepal called
Khagendra Thapa Magar, who is nearly 18-years-old and currently 5 inches
smaller than Nino!

If Magar maintains his height, he could enter the records as being the
shortest (verified) man ever, which is currently held by a man called
Gul Mohammed, who was born in India in 1957. Gul Mohammed died at the
age of 40 from respiratory complications and after a long struggle with
asthma and bronchitis

World's Largest High Definition Video Screen

Sunday, 5 September 2010

Cowboys Stadium is a domed stadium with a retractable roof in Arlington, Texas. It serves as the home of the National Football League's Dallas Cowboys. It replaced the partially-covered Texas Stadium, which opened in 1971, as the Cowboys' home. It was completed on May 27, 2009. The stadium seats 80,000, making it the 3rd largest seating capacity stadium in the NFL.

The stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world, has the world's largest column-free interior and the largest high definition video screen which hangs from 20 yard line to 20 yard line. The facility can also be used for a variety of other activities outside of its main purpose (professional football) such as concerts, religious ceremonies, basketball games, college football and high school football contests, soccer matches, Motorcross races and rodeos similar to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Video screen
A highlight of Cowboys Stadium is its gigantic center-hung high-definition television screen, the largest in the world, sometimes referred to as "Jerry-Tron". The 160-by-72-foot (49 by 22 m), 11,520-square-foot (1,070 m2) scoreboard surpasses the 8,736 sq ft (812 m2) screen that opened in 2009 at the renovated Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri as the world's largest.

The screens were developed by Mitsubishi's Diamond Vision Systems. Each center-hung sideline display consists of 10,584,064 LEDs, consuming some 635,000 watts. Because each pixel consists of four LEDs (2 red, 1 green, 1 blue), the 2,176 X 4,864 LED distribution corresponds to a 1,088 X 2,432 pixel resolution, the equivalent of 1080p. However the image can actually be considerably sharper than the resolution suggests, because Diamond Vision's "Dynamic Pixel" technology allows the corner LEDs of four neighboring pixel clusters to function as a pixel cluster together, providing virtual pixels between each physical pixel.
During the debut preseason game of Cowboys Stadium, a punt by Tennessee Titans punter A. J. Trapasso hit the 2,100 in. screen above the field. The punt deflected backwards and was ruled in-play until Titans coach Jeff Fisher informed the officials that the punt struck the scoreboard. By rule, the down was replayed. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes that Trapasso was trying to hit the scoreboard, saying "If you look at how you punt the football, unless you're trying to hit the scoreboard, you punt the ball to get downfield. You certainly want to get some hangtime, but you punt the ball to get downfield, and you sure don't punt the ball down the middle. You punt it off to the side." Whether the screen would affect an opposing teams punting strategy has been debated. For teams with strategies centered on maximizing hang-time, physicist Christopher Moore of Longwood University has shown via computer simulation that well-kicked punts have the potential to hit the screen no matter the field position. Trapasso disputed Jones' suggestion that he was intentionally trying to hit the board, and other NFL punters have suggested that the board may pose a problem for longer hang-time punts.

Guinness World Records was on hand at the September 28, 2009 game against the Carolina Panthers to award certificates to the Chairman of Mitsubishi Electric and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for the World's Largest High-Definition Video Display.

World's Largest Dog - Zorba the English Mastiff

If there are any large dogs that are well known in the world, Zorba is probably one of them. Zorba is an English Mastiff from the UK that made the Guinness Book of World Records because of her massive size.

The English Mastiff is a large breed of dog with an excellent reputation from those who know of them. Many people are not familiar with the Mastiff breed, until they read about one of them being in the Guinness Book of World Records. They are a dog of great courage and dignity that walk with a sense of look of grandeur. They are good natured, calm, easygoing with a great sense of humor. Not only do adults love them, but they are wonderful with kids and easy to train if you follow the advice in training manuals such as the free free Matiff Breed Personality, Fitness & Care course.

They do not show a lot of affection openly, but they are very loyal and devoted to the entire family. Unlike some breeds that are "one man dog" that are loyal to one or two members of the family; the Mastiff seems to know who the family members are and are loyal to the whole family. They are protective of the family, especially with strangers. If a stranger comes to their home, often the Mastiff will place itself between his family and the stranger. They stay that way until their master gives some indication is the visitor is a friend or not. With their massive size, (many are over 200 pounds), there aren't very many people that would want to cross the boundary line without them allowing it.

There have been more then just Zorba that have made world records for being the largest or biggest dogs in the world. Zorba, however, still holds the record in the world for being the largest and longest dog ever to be recorded. He is presently not in the Guinness Book of World Records because he is deceased, but no one to this date has topped his size.

Zorba was over 343 pounds, measured 8 feet 3 inches long to his nose to his tail and stood 37 inches at the shoulder. He was recorded in the books as Aicama Zorba in November 1989 at the age of 8 years old. Chris Eraclides of London, England owned him. Even though, Zorba has passed away and he is no longer listed in the Guinness Book, he is still remembered fondly in the canine world. Deceased or not, there are many that still consider Zorba the greatest and largest dog ever, regardless of who is listed in the book.
